Your Menopause Checklist!

  •  Educate Yourself! Start learning about menopause, the symptoms and how your body is changing.  Subscribing to my newsletter is a good start:)
  •  Consult with your Doctor: She can provide personalized guidance for you. You may want to consider preparing for this important visit.
  •  Journal your symptoms: Jot down daily how you are feeling. Over time you may notice trends to bring to your doctor’s attention.
  •  Honestly assess your lifestyle: start with nutrition, exercise and sleep. Then see if you can make small healthier changes on your own.
  •  For working women in particular: evaluate your work environment! Identify any adjustments that may improve your comfort and productivity. Consider factors like temperature control, flexible work arrangements and access to supportive resources or accommodations.  Choose work attire that allows for comfort and breathability. Opt for natural fabrics, layering options and breathable shoes to help regulate body temperature.
  •  Explore Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): Absolutely bring this up with your physician to see if right for you.
  •  Consider Non-Hormonal Treatment: Whether pharmaceutical or integrative approaches, explore what is right for you.
  •  Are you prioritizing self care that focuses on your mental and emotional well-being? Hobbies, socializing, or any time for yourself that brings you joy?
  •  Create a menopause support network: seek support from friends, family or menopause support groups (either local or online). Sharing experiences helps.
  •  Stay informed and seek resources: Knowledge empowers you to advocate for your needs and access the support available to you. Remember, your experience with menopause will be unique to you.

This checklist serves as a general guide, but it’s essential to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice based on your medical history and individual needs.

Wellness always,
